MEET OUR FLOCK

CHICKEN KEEPING

- If you want your chickens to be very friendly, spend lots of time with them when they are small.

- Create a safe space for them to live. Your enclosure needs to be predator proof. for protection.

- Keep their living areas clean and tidy. This will help you spot potential problems.

- When they start to lay eggs, they will need extra calcium. Forming eggshells takes alot of calcium, if they don't have enough....eggs will be misshapen or soft. Soft-shelled eggs or no shell can cause a hen serious problems.

- Keep a medical box on hand with the items that will be needed in case your flock gets sick or needs medical attention....espeically if there are no vets nearby or poultry vets.
